The QTH - Lake Elsinore, CA
Lake Elsinore is a small town of 50,000 plus located in western Riverside County, California. The city has a total area of 38.8 square miles (100.4 sq. km) of which 5.0 square miles or 12.82% is comprised of the lake itself. Lake Elsinore is the largest natural fresh water lake in Southern California.
Lake Elsinore is a popular venue for water sports, parachuting, parasailing and hang-gliding. The Storm, a minor league Class A – Advanced team in the California League also calls Lake Elsinore home. They are a farm team for the San Diego Padres.
